Kids' Regathering Guidelines

What to Expect - Effective august 20, 2021

Hey families, we wanted to share a few new procedures as it relates to Mountain Kids. Our goal is to Love our neighbor by following these procedures so we can ensure the safety of all who come to Mountain Kids.

Everyone entering Mountain Kids will have a Health Check. This includes the following:

  • Staff and volunteers serving indoors will be wearing face coverings. Families in attendance are encouraged to be aware of the CDC’s guidance for kids as the situation in our area is updated and make their choice.
  • Check for symptoms. When checking into Mountain Kids, you’ll be prompted to select if your child is experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 through an onscreen prompt. If you answer “yes” to any of the symptoms, you won’t be able to check-in.
  • Wash your hands. This one is pretty simple. Upon entering we ask that you wash your hands once you get into the classroom or before entering the kids wing. Hand sanitizer will also be available in each room to sanitize as needed.

In addition to the Health Check the following procedures are also in place:

  • Toys will be service specific and all larger toys will be cleaned along with surfaces after each service.
  • In addition to cleaning, we will not have snacks during service. Pre-made bottles will be allowed in the nursery and any one with health restrictions will be allowed to have a snack if needed.

If you or anyone in your immediate family is experiencing flu-like symptoms including, but not limited to fever, sore throat, diarrhea, headache, or coughing, we kindly ask that you participate through Mountain Kids Online.

Finally, if your family is not ready to attend in-person, that’s ok. In fact, Mountain Kids programming will still be available online for you and your kids to participate in at home.

Mountain Kids might look a little different with new procedures, but the mission is still the same - Make Disciples, More and Better Little Disciples. As always, if you have questions or concerns feel free to reach out to KidsRegather@MountainCC.org and one of our Kids pastors will respond to you.

Again, we look forward to seeing you whether in a physical building or through an online experience.

See you soon.
