Second Saturday Serve (SSS) is a great way to meet new people, build friendships, and be a part of Mountain culture! On the second Saturday of each month, we gather together to serve in various ways throughout the community. And, the best part is, you don't have to be skilled to participate. In fact, we have projects for all ages, interests, and skill levels.
Projects
Some projects support the ministry of local organizations while others are aimed at meeting more specific needs in the community. We provide manual, unskilled labor and include at least one project appropriate for younger children with their parents. Projects may include:
- Neighborhood Cleanups
- Painting
- Clearing Brush & Debris
- Planting Flowers
- Weeding
- Indoor Cleaning
- Raking Leaves
- Play Bingo at Bel Air Health & Rehab
- Packing/preparing meals
*Please plan on wearing clothes that you can work in (both indoor and outdoor). Also, bring gloves if you have them.
