Taking the course for “Credit” means you will be taking this course with the intention of having it on a college transcript. You will be responsible for turning in class assignments and will receive a grade at the end of the class. Courses taken for credit can be transferred to any university. Taking the course for “Audit” means you are still expected to participate in reading and discussion, but you do not have to complete any of the assignments nor will you receive a grade for the course. It will still show up as you audited the course on a college transcript, but you would not receive college credits for participating. Both are great options, and no matter what you choose, you’ll still gain so much from these courses. You can always decide to switch from Credit to Audit at the midterm point.
