You’re invited on a unique adventure to virtually travel to NAIROBI, KENYA from the comfort of your home during Mountain’s first-ever Virtual Mission Trip! All you need is an open heart, a laptop or phone, and a willing spirit to experience God at work across the world.
What is a Virtual Mission Trip?
Glad you asked! You'll experience life in rural and urban communities in and around Nairobi, Kenya through videos created by a Mountain Team in partnership with Missions of Hope International (MOHI) all on location in Kenya.
This is a self-guided experience. You will receive daily emails starting March 6 and you can interact with the material at your own pace. There will be 4-6 short videos and a few activities each day for you to experience this amazing ministry.
During the course of six days you'll experience a new place in Nairobi, meet new people and learn new skills, (like how to say, "Hello, nice to meet you." in Swahili), how to make Banana Mango Bread, and most importantly how God is at work in Kenya and how it can have a powerful impact on your own life and neighborhood right now!
Whether or not you plan to participate in a mission trip with Mountain in the future, this experience will give you the chance to learn and grow with a small group, with your family, or on your own.
Why $25?
The cost of the trip helps Mountain create experiences like this virtually and includes materials for your family to experience the trip in a full way. Typically, an in-person trip costs thousands of dollars, but we're happy to offer this experience for a fraction of the cost.
Upon registration you will receive a “Coupon Code” with which you can invite your friends to join you on the “trip” for free. This would be for friends who've never been part of a global trip, or have had the experience of being part of what Jesus is doing across the world! Also, you will receive an email with your next steps to best prepare for our adventure!
