How Do You Explain All the Bad Things and Suffering that Happens in the World? | Six Feet Apart

God is here, God hurts, God helps, God is hope.
God meets us in our pain and suffering and gives us the comfort and consolation we need.
God comes right beside us and is our helper

The Bible doesn’t give us answers, it gives us resources.

God gives us a picture of the future so that we can see it today and have hope.
He has shown us a picture of when evil is erased and all is right with the world.

What will Jesus say when he returns to Earth? One missionary thought about this question for a moment and he said, "Jesus will say “'Enough!'”

Enough.
Enough suffering and starvation.
Enough terror, racism, viruses and violence in the streets.
Enough cheating, selfishness, corruption, cancer and hopelessness.

None of it -- none of the suffering is part of the plan.
That’s how the story ends.

This whole life we’re living now is just the prologue to the best and most beautiful part of the story when Jesus comes back and the kingdom will fully come.
