A Great Life Will Spend Time in the Pit | Have a Great Life

2020 has brought with it so much grief, sadness, disappointment, and unfairness. It’s been a difficult year. You might find yourself saying, this just isn’t fair. I feel like I’m in a pit.

A great life will experience mountain tops and valleys. A great life will face really tremendous and celebratory moments, BUT IT WILL ALSO face unfairness, disappointment, and spend time in the pit. A lot of us feel that pit right now, and it might actually be worth pausing for a brief moment to remind you, nowhere in The Bible are we given a promise that the best life we can live, a life with Jesus, will be free of pits. In fact, exactly the opposite is true.

Jesus reminds us of the promise that if we walk with the Lord, we can still have a great life, even if we are in a pit, because we will have hope not just in this life, but in life eternal.
