A Great Life Will Learn To Win Over Temptation | Have a Great Life

Temptation is part of life, everyone has faced it. Maybe its anger, alcohol, drugs, sex, food, or work. Succumbing to any temptation lures you to sin and leaves you wounded. You lose your integrity, your joy, your relational connections, your purity, and you lose your connection to God.

Sin is separation from God in that moment. And you don’t have a great life by avoiding temptation, but rather by recognizing temptation, expecting it and successfully navigating through it with your integrity in tact and your relationship with God in tact.

It’s not about rules, it’s not about results, it’s about a relationship with God. When Joseph was faced with temptation he said to God, “I Love You More,” and denied that temptation. Love and loyalty are the things that will get you out of the bind. Tell God, “I Love You More.”
