Strive for Unity | The Separation of Church and Hate

Jesus’ most ardent prayer is that we would not be driven apart from one another. He prays for our unity because Jesus knows the enemy is going to try and come and create division. When we sow seeds of division and knowingly make remarks that offend someone or drive someone away and create a rift in the body of Christ; or when we refuse to listen, we are being influenced by the evil one more than we’re being influenced by the spirit of Jesus.

The power of the message of Jesus through us comes down to the unity Jesus creates among us. Jesus is the source of our strength, the basis of our unity, and the answer to the division through his people.

Be a healing force in the division around you. It won’t be easy, but Jesus says strive for it.
