The middle of Revelation shows us a different picture when judgment starts to come on unrepentant sinners and rebellious creation. God is not willing that any would perish and that’s why he delays, but he cannot delay forever. If he truly loves us incredibly than the wrath of God is a part of the picture. It’s pretty unpopular in some circles because we seem determined to make God into our image. But revelation pulls back the curtain and reveals that when you see evil and wickedness circling us and beating up on us like a bully… God is not gonna sit by forever. He’s gonna do something about it.
