Campus 5 Announcement!

I've got some super exciting news to share with you! This is an exclusive announcement intended just for members of the Dream Team. By watching the video below and reading to the end of this message, you will be the first to know about some very cool stuff about to happen at Mountain! If you haven't guessed, this message contains a private sneak peek on Campus #5!
Excited yet!? Before you rush further-a couple things:

  1. This information isn't ready to be shared broadly yet. We'll unveil it to the whole church in a special service the weekend of October 19/20. That will be super fun! So PLEASE DO NOT SHARE THIS INFORMATION OR THE VIDEO WITH OTHERS until after that weekend. That will allow us to have a unified moment of excitement and share the news in a way that will allow for the greatest impact. Thank you for sitting on this!

This is exciting stuff, my friends! This is not our first rodeo, so we know launching a campus is a HUGE undertaking with HUGE potential impact for God's mission. This is a BIG DEAL that will receive our focus for the next year. We will share more details about this project at our upcoming Large Group Gathering for the Dream Team, which is on October 19 at 7pm. Don't miss! Note: We will be holding that Dream Team Gathering AT THE NEW CAMPUS 5 LOCATION! You will get to see it with your own eyes, imagine what God will do in that place, and then join in praying over that space. If you haven't yet RSVP'd, please do so HERE.

As you know, launching a campus like this will take a significant investment from God's people. We're going to talk about this with the entire church very soon, inviting everyone to step up to whatever part they can play. I see it as a significant opportunity for stewardship and growth among our church family.

But we want to give the Dream Team the first crack at getting this project started to position us for success with the rest of the launch. Here's an opportunity for the Dream Team to activate one crucial part of this project: technology. To outfit the new campus with the right technology it will cost just about $1 million. Our message is ancient and timeless. But our methods take advantage of the tools of technology.

What is included in that $1M technology package? It includes speakers in bathrooms, TVs so nursing moms can keep up with the service, TVs in the Commons area, check-in screens at our Connection Point, computer check-in for Mt. Kids area, security cameras for safety, microphones, keyboards, drums, cables, and all the tech needed for our worship space like screens, audio and lighting systems to enhance worship and message delivery. And wires - lots and lots of wires, cables and conduit no one will ever see.

I'm sharing this information with you now so you can help us advance this project before we ever share it with the wider church family. I'd love to be able to stand before our people on October 19-20 and brag on the Dream Team, and show them how we are not at square zero, but already on our way with the goal in sight. I'd love to tell them some generous people believe in this project and have gone first with their faith and generosity to encourage the rest of us.
