| Workforce Development Lab for Aberdeen

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the poverty rate in Aberdeen Maryland sits at 17.9% while the rest of Harford County sits at 8%. Thus, the EPICENTER is currently seeking a Workforce Development Lab at the Aberdeen location in order to help combat against this astronomical poverty rate. Through this lab we will be equipping our communities to gain and retain employment, helping youth obtain Jobs for Life as well as continue to dive deeper into leadership development. Local businesses (especially small businesses) have been inquiring about this lab with hopes of creating a pipeline to these businesses that support the EPICENTER. We also have a career coaching team in place ready to receive folks looking for employment! 

Vision Gap: $25,000

• Pray for our communities to find their way to our EPICENTER at Aberdeen where we can connect them to ready to hire employers
• Pray for volunteers within the workforce arena to come onto the EPICENTERs team to serve as career coaches.

• For our neighbors who will be blessed with nutritious food by your donation and who will come to better understand the meaning of love in a Christ-centered community.
• For the MD Food Bank and the work they do in support of Marylanders that they will continue to be a brick in the bridge that will end hunger across Maryland and the tie that binds people of all backgrounds together in the bond of servant hood.
