| Kids & Students Digital Equipment

The COVID-19 crisis has served to accelerate the need for a strong digital presence for both Mountain Kids and Students. Both kids and students today are “digital natives” and spend anywhere from 4 and a half hours (ages 8-12) to over 7 hours (teens) a day on their screens. In order to reach these kids and students where they are and to disciple them, a presence online is required to truly connect.

As Mountain looks to ramp up it’s digital discipleship efforts across the board, we see an important opportunity to invest in more video equipment to maximize our impact through digital content and connection. This initiative will set up each ministry for future growth as the digital world increasingly becomes the “screen” door for people to connect with the church.

| Start a Residency Program

For 10+ years Mountain has been investing in the next generation of ministry leaders through its Semester in Ministry Internship Program. This immersive experience has seen over 80 participants who are now influencers for Christ spanning 15 states, 4 countries, and a range of professional fields from ministry, missions, campus ministry, medicine, business, counseling, social work, to education! Looking to expand the impact of this type of empowering experience, Mountain is working to establish a formal residency program called Season in Ministry, providing a two-semester formation and learning experience for those seeking a deeper level of vocational ministry preparation.

This investment will allow us to officially launch Season in Ministry this fall and sustain the program for its first academic year serving to host three prospective residents who have expressed interest.
