| Help Kids in Kenya Return to School
We have received an urgent request from one of our Mission Partners in Nairobi, Kenya. They are facing difficult issues related to the Covid 19 crisis and needing assistance to get the children back in the classroom safely. Schools are scheduled to be reopened in May, and assistance will be needed throughout the year. Read the following from the Mission:
I would like to share an update with you about our current MOHI initiative to re-open centers and get kids back in school. We continue to need help in this area. Due to the government's physical distancing requirements, there are still many changes and upgrades MOHI needs to make to ensure a safe learning environment. As you know, our MOHI schools provide so much more than education to our students. A school is their safe place – mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually – from their harsh realities, and our kids must get back to school! We urgently need to raise $40 per student, in addition to normal sponsorship funds, to make it possible for MOHI to meet these requirements in order to reopen schools and sustain our ministry through the pandemic.
Mountain is inviting the Dream Team to help 625 kids get back to school safely at $40 per student ($25,000).
Vision Gap: $25,000
