Lead Pastor Ben Cachiaras or a Campus Pastor will help you discover the basics of the Christian faith, what kind of church we are and how you can be a part of this special place.

We hope to see you there!

Each Welcome to Mountain gathering provides either a meal and/or refreshments. Childcare is provided through age 10.

Note: as your Welcome to Mountain date approaches, an email will be sent to confirm your attendance. Reply and let us know if you can make it and include the names of those attending with you. Also, confirm the number and ages of children needing childcare.

    Milligan at Mountain
    Various class options

Mountain is thrilled to once again partner with Milligan College to bring two college-level ministry courses to our campus. Join us for this time of study and growth as we dig deeper into the Bible, discover its impact on the world around us, and consider our own personal journeys. These courses are open to anyone 16 years and older.

Both are college-level courses: accredited and transferable. They can be audited or taken for 3 credit hours—the cost is the same for both options. Mountain has negotiated a reduced price of $300/course. A limited number of partial scholarships are available by request. To inquire about scholarship assistance, contact Marla De Lucia

To register for a course(s), please complete both Part 1 and Part 2 for each class.

    Transformational Leadership (CMIN 440)

Conflicts, deadlines, personality differences, and culture-clashes – Leadership in the workplace, family life, and church can be messy and challenging. If you long to learn and grow and become a stronger leader, you don’t want to miss this opportunity. Through captivating teachings, practical tools, and primary metaphors of leadership found in the Bible, you’ll develop a theologically informed perspective on leadership as you grow in your calling. Transformational Leadership is going to shape the world, it’s going to shape the church, it’s going to shape you. Pastoral Epistles (BIBL 322)

Dive deeper in your Biblical studies as we take a closer look at the New Testament Pastoral Letters--1 and 2 Timothy and Titus. The apostle Paul wrote these letters to individuals who 1) dared to be disciples and to disciple others, 2) longed to be the leaders the Lord called them to be, and 3) cared for the churches under their charge. Come discover what these letters meant for them and for us, as we follow and lead and become Christ's church. Prepare to be challenged, encouraged, but most of all equipped. Course taught by Dr. Lee Magness. There is coursework to be completed in advance of September 28. Registration closes September 2.

    Details:
    Meets three Saturdays: Sept. 28, Oct. 19, & Nov. 16, @ 9 AM - 4 PM
