In this session, participants will have opportunities to learn how to play the game of chess while connecting the game of chess to a participant’s Christian walk and the psychology behind decision making. Participants will gain valuable insights through chess in an effort to understand fear and risk as it relates to Christianity and Christian communities.
No Chess or Christian Experience Necessary (come to learn and ask questions)
• What psychological challenges do you encounter when you are in fear? How do you react?
• What’s God message to you when you don’t win?
• How does my Christian walk change as I gather new information?
